In most cases, NLA licences are held or administered by representative bodies that act as agents between CLA and the schools. Details of those arrangements are shown below:

State-maintained schools and academies in England All schools in this sector are covered under a national agreement with the Department of Education
State-maintained schools in Scotland and the Channel Islands Cover can be arranged via your local authority. Ask us for more information
State-maintained schools in Wales All schools in this sector are covered under a national agreement with the Welsh Local Government Association
State schools in Northern Ireland All schools in this sector are covered under  a national agreement with the Education Authority
Independent schools Independent schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland should contact IAPS to arrange cover

Independent schools in Scotland should contact SCIS to arrange cover

The Newspapers for Schools Library from NLA Media Access helps teachers and students from licensed schools find newspaper articles. It contains over 35 million newspaper articles from over 140 UK national and regional newspaper titles, dating from 2006 to present day.
