Shake It Up, the music competition for schools, announces star judging panel - and extends deadline for entries.

Halton Borough Council recently went live with KeyLinks, choosing to move away from paper lists and ensure that visitors to Halton Libraries had digital access to organised content anywhere.

On 6-7 March 2019, CLA and PMLL exhibited at the Music & Drama Education Expo at Olympia, London to talk about the Schools Printed Music Licence and the Shake It Up competition.

The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA), the Scottish Government, and Scottish Local Authorities have agreed to continue the central licensing arrangement that saves Scottish schools time and money. The new licence agreement will cover schools to March 2022.

The PLS Board has appointed Rosie Glazebrook as its new Chair with effect from 1 April 2019. She takes over from Mark Bide who retires at the end of May having completed six years in office. Like Mark, she will also become the co-Chair of the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA).

We are delighted to announce that the Digital Content Store (DCS), our innovative content platform for Higher Education, has achieved 5 million student downloads.

CLA has launched a national awareness campaign aimed at UK schools in a bid to boost teachers’ understanding of how copyright affects their use of books and other resources.

On Wednesday 12 December, around 70 delegates from Higher Education Institutions across the country came to Woburn House Conference Centre to attend the 4th Copyright Information and Technologies in Education Forum.
