Features and benefits
Annual Licence

Your company must have paid for an original of the work being copied (either whole work or pay-per-view copy) or a copyright-fee-paid copy from a document supply vendor

Copying from Digital - all e-books, e-journals and e-periodicals published by any participating publisher in this licence, except for those listed as excluded works

You may store digital copies in a local product or project-based searchable database, in personal or work group folders, and within a dim archive for regulatory purposes
(Specific uses now identified)Digital and print copies may be sent for medical information, technical support and regulatory submissions. They may not be used for any external marketing purpose
May also be used for legal proceedings and patent applicationsAbility for any authorised user to receive unencrypted copyright-fee-paid articles from the British Library

Please note that over 1,000 publishers have so far included their digital material in the new Digital Pharmaceutical Licence including Elsevier, Oxford Universtiy Press, British Medical Journal and Wiley Blackwell
An additional side letter for this permission is enclosed and will need to be signed and returned to the CLA to activate this with the British Library
