This licence has been developed following consultation with the pharmaceutical industry and the permissions provided specifically address and deliver compliant solutions in relation to your everyday information and regulatory needs.

Whether you are a small bioscience company, a medium sized healthcare company or a pharmaceutical multi-national, CLA's pharmaceutical licences can benefit you.

  

In addition to photocopying and scanning copies made from printed books, magazines and journals, the digital licence offers several important new benefits including:

  Copying from digital publications such as e-books and e-journals published by over 1,000 publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley Blackwell, Oxford University Press, BMJ, CABI, Cambridge University Press, Portland Press and Springer Verlag.
 
The ability to store digital copies in a local product or project based database (including long term dim archives for regulatory purposes)
 
Permission for external delivery of single licensed digital and print copies for medical information, legal proceedings, regulatory submissions and patent applications.
 
Enables outsourcing of permissions to an onsite or offsite third party contractor.
 
The option to receive unencrypted copyright fee paid articles from the British Library.

 

Please note that there are some works that are excluded from all CLA licences and may not be copied in any form. See the Excluded categories and works.
