Digital material included in CLA licences
Certain CLA licences include the rights to re-use and copy digital material in addition to photocopying and scanning rights. These digital rights are currently only included in the Business Licence, the Public Adminsitration Licence and certain Higher Education licences.
These rights will allow our customers to re-use or make copies of extracts from electronic or online titles and to store copies on a secure intranet for up to 30 days.
The digital rights are granted by publishers on an ‘opt-in’ basis and the lists accessible below show the publishers that have included their electronic or online titles in each licence.
If the publisher of the electronic or online title you wish to copy is not shown on the relevant list, please contact that publisher directly for permission.
Please also note that there are certain titles and categories of work that may not be copied under any CLA licence and they are shown on the List of Excluded Categories and Works.
