Marketing Communications Executive
London, EC1
Salary: £22,000 (+ benefits)
The Copyright Licensing Agency Limited (CLA) is at the forefront of the rapidly developing world of intellectual property and rights management and we have recently introduced a range of new licences containing rights to copy from digital publications including websites.
CLA issues licences to organisations in the education, government and business sectors that permit the legal copying from print and digital publications.
We work on behalf of the authors, publishers and visual artists we represent and all the money we collect in licence fees is paid back to the copyright owners whose work is copied.
We aim to obtain fair reward for creators and publishers for the use of their work and by supporting copyright owners in this way, we help to maintain the value of their work and thereby sustain their creativity.
Now an opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Communications Executive to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of our print and digital communications, organising and managing a programme of exhibitions and events and providing a number of internal communications and administration services.
The successful applicant will be a recent graduate with a degree or equivalent in either Marketing/Media, English or related subject who is looking to pursue a career in marketing or PR. In addition, you will ideally have gained some relevant previous office or administrative experience either through placement or full time work since leaving university. You will certainly be an excellent organiser and communicator with proven writing ability, strong attention to detail and good IT skills. The most important attributes are confidence, strong written and verbal communication and the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines. You must be able to use your initiative and work accurately without supervision
