The Copyright Licensing Agency Ltd (CLA) issues licences for the reproduction of published material from the UK and overseas.  Owned by its members, the Authors’ Licensing & Collecting Society (ALCS) and the Publishers Licensing Society Ltd (PLS), we are at the forefront of the rapidly developing fields of intellectual property and electronic rights management.

An opportunity has arisen for a Bibliographic Assistant to join us at the CLA. The role will require you to enter, process and manipulate survey data received from our licensees, cleanse and verify the data, research bibliographic information to ensure correct payments to our rights holders, and day-to-day problem solving and reporting. 

The successful applicant will have experience of data processing and interrogating databases, typing skills and a proven ability to create and work with complex Excel spreadsheets.  You must be organised and efficient, possess good attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as well as be a self starter able to work to critical deadlines.
