This page includes details of the licence applicable to Independent higher education institutions (non UUK/GuildHE members).
The licence grants rights permitting HEIs to make multiple photocopies and scan extracts from printed books, journals and magazines to support students enrolled on courses of study.

Please note that any works listed on the standard List of Excluded Categories and Excluded Works are excluded from photocopying or scanning under the terms of the HE Trial Licence; any works listed on the 'List of works excluded from scanning under the HE Trial Licence' cannot be scanned but can still be photocopied.
