Business licence
This licence applies to businesses and charities with 51 or more employees.
The licence allows copying from magazines, books and journals as well as electronic and online publications.
Specifically the licence permits:
- Photocopying from titles published in the UK and most major overseas countries
- Scanning from titles published in the UK
- Re-use and copying from electronic and online titles published in the UK (see the List of Included Digital Works by Publisher).
- Storage of articles on a secure intranet for up to 30 days
This applies to all publications except:
- Those publications shown on the List of Excluded Categories and Works (for all copying)
- Those publications not included by the List of Included Digital Works by Publisher (for copying from electronic and online titles).
The business licence also includes the copying of artistic works, such as photographs, illustrations, diagrams and graphics, where they are contained within the publication being copied.
